Our Services

Company
SafeTread has a trained staff of application specialists, along with our office manager and marketing coordinator. The slip proofing treatment has been used in companies throughout the United States. Hotel chains such as La Quinta Inn, Embassy Suites, Travel Lodge, Best Western, Double Trees, and other individual locations of Hilton and Renaissance Inn hotels. Some of the non hotel slip proof treatment users include The Keg restaurant, Baskin Robbins Ice Cream and various other customers who continue to seek safe and preventative measures against slip-and-fall accidents. Our normal office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. weekdays; however, our application specialists are available to treat your business's surfaces 24 hours a day. We have found that often the most convenient time for treatment is early in the morning, late at night, or on weekends.

Products
Our company provides a variety of safety-related services and products to aid in the prevention of slip-and-fall accidents. We have uniquely formulated chemical compounds designed to react with the silica sand in any mineral surface such as concrete, tile, terrazzo, marble, and porcelain. The result of that chemical reaction is the creation of thousands of microscopic crevices, or tread pattern, that act as suction cups, particularly when the treated surface is wet. The slip resistant aspect of the treated surface is generally doubled when the treatment is complete.

Scheduling Procedure
Once surfaces to be treated have been determined, our company will present you with a formal estimate and await your acceptance. Upon acceptance, an application specialist will schedule a time to complete the treatment. The process takes from 5-15 minutes per bathtub or shower depending on whether it is necessary to remove bath strips or glue. For businesses that have floor surfaces to clean/treat, the time to complete the treatment varies depending on size of the job. We will make every effort to schedule a treatment time within a two-week period.
