What is it?
The SafeTread process reduces the risk and danger of slips and falls, the resulting potential for injury, lawsuits, litigation costs, employee days lost, and fatal falls. The SafeTread process can be used on almost all hard surfaces, such as ceramic tile, glazed brick, marble, polished stone, terrazzo, river rock, concrete, quarry tile, porcelain and enamel bathtubs and showers.

The Law says, you need it!
The Americans with Disabilities Act provides that all businesses must maintain their floors in slip proof condition. Failure to comply results in huge fines, higher commercial insurance and Workman's Compensation.

Who can benefit?
According to the National Safety council there are over 9 million disabling slip/fall injuries every year. Fast food outlets, nursing homes, restaurants, office buildings, banks, hospitals, hotels, malls, spas, country clubs, and bathroom & showers are just some of the facilities that need to have our SafeTread solution applied.

A balancing act?
The very young who play, slip and slide in the bathtub or the elderly and infirm who may lose their balance and have no chance to recover on a slippery bathtub surface are the primary people who will benefit with our SafeTread solution. How is this possible?
The SafeTread process is not a coating that can wear off, but a process that creates a tread design on the mineral surface itself without losing the look or feel of your flooring or the comfort of bathing. The SafeTread process will not discolor or change the look of your floor, tile, tub or shower. The SafeTread process is quick (within 5-15 minutes) and easy to apply to your bathtub or shower.
