2008 Advanced Rider Course - May 17th
Thank you for the overwhelming interest in taking Advanced Rider Course. It
would be great to have 100% participation.
I am happy to let you know that we have our class scheduled for May 17th at
Rainier Hill Christian Fellowship (in Don & Marlene's front yard)
Classes will begin at about 8:00 am and run until 5:00. This will include
four hours of class room and four hours of range instruction.
It will be necessary that you wear: Long sleeve shirts or jackets Long pants
Boots that cover your ankle full finger gloves helmet Come with a full tank of
gas. ( don't want to run out on the range) Bring a sack lunch
**Check your air pressure before coming to class because low air pressure can
affect braking and turns.
For those of you who ride a trike will not be included in this class because
the course is different from the two wheeled class. In talking with Eric he said
that he plans on doing a trike class this spring so I will keep you informed as
to when and where it will be held. However, if you would like to come and watch
or borrow a two wheeled machine to use for the day you will be more than
welcome.

2007 Chapter Campout
The eagerly anticipated Chapter Y Campout is scheduled for Friday the 14th
through Sunday the 16th. Bill Goetz is planning to meet any and all intrepid
travelers at the Enumclaw Safeway at 3:30 PM, Friday afternoon the 14th. If you
can't make it by then, he'll keep the light on for ya at the resort.
If you plan on joining everyone for the campout, please let Bill know by next
Tuesday the 11th so he can make our reservations.
The plan is to get over there Friday, do a ride on Saturday, then come back
home Sunday. I don't know this for sure, but I'll bet there'd be a way to
finagle leaving Monday for those who might choose to do so.
And, by way of making room for the campout, I'm hereby and forthwith
canceling our Chapter gathering for this month. No Chapter Gathering Friday
night the 14th.
